ORDERING IS QUICK AND EASY

The buttonowl.com online shop is quick and easy-to-use. Simply add goodies to your shopping cart and follow the instructions presented during the checkout process.
 

Just to note that the colour of our items may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. Also, since our lights, cushions and wreaths are lovingly handmade in our UK  studio there may be slight variation in the appearance. All part of the charm!
 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept credit and debit cards via Stripe (a secured payment gateway) and Paypal.

IS IT SAFE TO SHOP WITH YOU ONLINE?

Yes! Your details are SSL encrypted during the shopping checkout process (that’s geek speak meaning they’re in safe hands).
 

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE?

Yes. Where appropriate, they meet the rigorous British Standards for safety and are CE-certified.

All fairy lights twinkling in ButtonOwl products are LED and battery powered which means they do not heat up or need to be plugged in and can be left on as long as you like!  

WHY ARE BATTERY LIGHTS USED INSTEAD OF MAINS POWERED LIGHTS?

All fairy lights twinkling in ButtonOwl products are LED and battery powered which means they do not heat up or need to be plugged in.  

The added benefit of this is that there are no trailing wires and products can be hung up anywhere (pretty mood lighting in the bath anyone?).   

In fact ButtonOwl fairy light products were designed initially as perfect nightlights, providing warm soft lights which little ones can fall asleep to without being scared of the dark.  The lights can be left on all night if needed as the lights do not heat up. 

They require 2AA batteries (placed in a small battery pack at the end of the lights) and the battery life is approx 50 hours!  

Bulbs of the fairy lights never need to be replaced as are all attached to one circuit. 

Lights are always tested before dispatch but on the very rare occasion that they are faulty when they arrive, please contact us at [email protected] and we will happily replace the lights.  

CAN I WASH MY CUSHIONS?

Yes, you can! Wash the entire cushion by hand or sponge clean and let the cushion air dry.  Cushions can be washed in your washing machine but the felt will start to deteriorate after a number of machine washes.  

REPAIR SERVICE

If your cushions are the victims of a little bit too much love, we'll repair any split seams for free. All we ask is that you pay the postage. Send an email to [email protected] and the ButtonOwl fairies will attend to your cushion

DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAPPING?

All ButtonOwl goodies are carefully wrapped in tissue and tied with a ribbon, ready to give as a gift.  if you would like to add a personalised gift tag, just pop us an email at [email protected] with details.

Invoices or receipts are not included in parcels are standard, so if you are sending a ButtonOwl goody to the lucky recipient of the gift, these details will not be included!
